Chamomile (German) Spagyric Tincture

from $39.95

Spagyric tinctures are made via a series of laboratory processes resulting in the separation, purification and cohobation of the plant spirit, soul, and body creating a full & powerful extract in resonance with the Alchemical Salt principle (the Physical Body).

All of our herbal extracts use organically grown and/or ethically wildcrafted/organic herbs and certified organic food-grade ethanol diluted in filtered and/or distilled rainwater.

German chamomile (Matricaria recutita) belongs to the daisy (Asteraceae) family, a well-known, versatile herb used for calming all ages, particularly known to be safe for children and elders. Chamomile first gently warms the body before going on to cool inflammation & calm hyperactivity within the tissues; harmonising, moderating & softening whatever it touches. Avicenna (90 - 1037 C.E) talks of chamomile, "- by its coldness, it assists in clearing excess heat from the organs, and by its warmth it helps resolve gross substances".

Chamomile can alleviate (wind)tense conditions involving aspects of heat, damp & mucus congestion; relaxing constraint, relieving spasmodic pain and calming the mind. These qualities make chamomile a common herb chosen for sleep onset insomnia, gastrointestinal & menstrual spasms and conditions caused by or resulting in inflammation & swelling.
